Geometry Creation and Simplification
Altair Inspire Form's geometry preparation tools allow you to easily extract midsurfaces, fill holes and cutouts, and remove flganges as well as the Altair Inspire tools to create and modify geometry.
Altair Inspire Form will automatically calculate the most ideal stamping direction for part geometries available in car coordinates. Additionally, the user can specify the stamping direction and apply restraining forces correespondig to the blankholder and drawbeads.
Users can choose from a material library that includes properties for standard steel and aluminum grades. With Altair Inspire Form it is also pissble to create a new material and save it withinn the user database.
Analysis and Results Visualization
The flat blank necessary to form the part shape is available at the end of the analysis. Visualize thinning and other defects such as wrinkles, splits, and loose metal.
